No, registration can be done without an identity card number.

Identity card might be required if:
– You updating certain personal information on your BJ88 account;
– Discrepancies or inconsistencies of information relating to you, your BJ88 account or your transaction(s) with BJ88;
– Abnormal behavior of the account.
